busy uneventful week

Randall and I both have been working hard on homework this week and have not been exploring. I have a final paper due for an organic literature class and Randall has a project due for his online NCSU class. We did get out for a little bit yesterday to get some things from downtown. We like to eat frosted flakes cereal as it is cheap and tastes better than most other cereals we have tried here. The only problem with eating frosted flakes is that the Prisma (our regular grocery store) does not carry any. the only kind they have is whole wheat flakes with little to no sugar. So whenever we get low on cereal we have to go downtown to get it from the K-supermarket . We usually buy about 4-5 boxes of cereal each time we get it because it is not convenient to go every week.
While we were downtown we decided to ride the tram around the city and just see some of the areas that we have not been through. We also went to the US embassy so that I could see where it was and so we could walk around a park near there. The US and British embassies were across the street from each other and were the only two embassies that had a 4ft brick/stone wall with a 5ft iron fence surrounding them. They were also the only two embassies that had 2 cameras on each corner of the building and 2 on each corner of the fence! The other embassies had 2-4ft iron fences or 2 ft stone walls but not both and they did not have cameras. Russia did have a 3ft stone wall and 3ft iron fence but they did not have cameras on the building or the fence. All of the buildings in the area were pretty and had a very historical look. We did not take the camera with us so I do not have pictures. I would not have been able to get pictures of the US embassy anyway because they had a sign on the wall saying no pictures.
